Let’s see, we have quite a lot of tiny details we can think about as we wait for the next new House episode to air on Monday. Here are the tings we already know:
- Hugh Laurie is the director for Monday’s episode, Lockdown. It’s the first time he’s directed an episode so it should be fascinating!
- Cynthia Watros, who will play Wilson’s first ex wife, Sam Carr will make her series debut on the show in Lockdown. We have been told that she and Wilson may revive their old relationship and that House will be very antagonistic toward her because he doesn’t think she’s good for Wilson…or because he’s jealous and wants Wilson all to himself…
- The guest star POTW for Lockdown will be played by David Strathairn. He’s a fantastic actor and it should be intense when he and House are locked in the same room together during the lockdown.
- Jennifer Morrison, who plays Cameron will be back for Lockdown and will have some “papers” with her. Could they be divorce papers?
- There’s going to be a marriage proposal in the season finale. I’m guessing these are the options:
- Lucas asks Cuddy
- House asks Cuddy (it’s a long shot, but who knows?)
- Foreman asks Thirteen (another long shot…)
- Taub already asked his wife to re-marry him, so it’s propably not that
- Wilson asks his ex-wife
- Chase asks Cameron to re-marry him
- Lin-Manuel Miranda, who plays House’s mental hospital roommate, Alvie will be a guest star in the episode Baggage. His character was wonderful! That should b fun!
All of that information, put together is certainly exciting, but here are a few more details to think about:
- According to BuddyTV, We won’t know until the season finale whether Wilson’s ex wife, Sam Carr, will be back next season or not. After all, she’s a doctor and could easily join the Princeton Plainsboro staff… Could this have anything to do with the marriage proposal we’ve been told about?
- Buddy TV reports: Right now the promo says Chase (Jesse Spencer) will be locked down with “an old flame.” Will that be Cameron? Or someone else?
- In Knight’s Fall, House and Sam will start to really get antagonistic with each other and for some reason, “Wilson is forced to do House’s laundry for a month after losing a bet, and he finds an empty bottle of Vicodin in House’s pocket.” Yikes!
- Jennifer Morrison has told TV Guide: “Contractually, they’ve guaranteed me a certain number of episodes next year – I think three or four. They’re probably very much leaning toward writing a storyline for the character.” Great news!
- Jennifer Morrison’s Broadway play The Miracle Worker has ended its run on Broadway, so she could be free to return to the show if the writers decide to bring her back
- And this from Fancast:
Got any ‘House‘ scoop? – Maura
How do you top the last season finale where Dr. Nasty checked himself into a psych ward? It sounds like the ‘House’ writers are up to the challenge when it comes to this year’s season-ender. “I can’t reveal too much, and this more of a sports reference, but it’s going to go down to the wire,” Peter Jacobson aka Dr. Taub teased me. “It’s definitely going to be dramatic and traumatic for all involved.” Are we talking one big game-changer or multiple medium-sized ones? “It’s more in the biggie category,” Peter said.
- And finally, this from Buddy TV: A May episode will have House (Laurie) making a decision “between his own needs and his desire for a relationship with Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein).”

So, there are a lot of things coming..I am so excited. Every information is interesting to me actually.. about marriage proposal, I think it would be Lucas because it seems like the only one possible but I hope it isn’t..Well, Lucas is a nice guy, but I don’t think he belongs to Cuddy. And of course, I want Cameron back and I hope it’s not just for divorce issue…And about Wilson’s first ex-wife, so she’s a doctor? it is really interesting
Absolutely loved the last ep! Though we don’t see the “Behind the scenes”, I thing Hugh’s directing was great! But please: House and Lydia??? Still, the best message was: House is more humane than most think he is. That’s what I loved most about “Lockdown”. Can’t wait to watch the next ep…
I’m very excited for end of the season! I can’t wait to see what they’re planning, if what PJ says is true “dramatic and traumatic FOR ALL INVOLVED” not only House. Of Course I have to ask “who’s ‘all’?” heh
and I hope nobody asks anybody. Or at least Chase doesn’t ask Cameron, and I don’t want she to be pregnant (like the ausiello’s blind item) urg Actually if somebody else asks somebody else I don’t really care much. (Unless Chase asks 13, god no)
and this Knight’s Fall’s scoop about Wilson doing the Laundry and finding the Vicodin didn’t happen did? Or did I lost it? If it didn’t, I guess it’ll next episode I guess… ôo”
@ Lina: I was hoping to catch that scene, too. But it didn’t happen. Maybe next ep. We’ll know in a few days from now. But the number of pills did increase.
As for the rest, I don’t really care much about that marriage proposal. All I want to know is how they plan to top last season’s finale! At least there’s gonna be a season 7. This much I’ve read in a mag.
@Greg Thanks! So it didn’t happen after all… But I did notice the increasing number of pills! I’m dying to know the season finalle too!
Welcome to the club! If you look at all the new spoiler pix you’re left with three words: I can’t wait!
