YES!!!! Hugh Laurie got nominated for 2010 Emmy!! I really hope that we’ll get it because he really deserves it. Well, I’m disappointed that Lisa’s not in the list though. I thought there could be a chance for her too.
I am thrilled that Hugh got nominated for Best Actor, but I wish he would have gotten one for directing “Lockdown”, too. Also the writing in that episode and the season opener should have been in there as should have Andre Braugher, David Strathairn, and Lin-Manuel Miranda for their acting. Oh well, maybe when the people that vote get over “Mad Men”, there might be a chance of the great work on “House” being recognized again.
YAY!!!! im soo happy 4 Hugh. yeah i thnk Lisa shuld hav bn nominated as well, she has dun a wonderful job (as always) it wuld stnk if mad men beat house they seem 2 always b the 1 that beats them

Greg, the Emmy voters are their own little gang that aren’t swayed by anyone. However, it is good to remember that the people have a voice with the People’s Choice Awards(which both Hugh and House have won in the past !!!) I believe that the on line ballots start to appear in mid-October. That’s where our opinions can be heard and count !
Yeah, but I wish we could influence these Emmy-voters in some way….

Yeah.. I agree. That’s why I wrote my comment about Hugh’s Emmy nomination in this page. I was wondering about that too..
We can influence them via Fox. The network(and production company) are responsible for putting ads in the trade papers, reminding the voters of the outstanding work a performer has done. Sometimes the actor’s agency that represents them will also do some ads. Maybe this is the wsy to get to thr voters.
