Now that we’ve seen the first House episode of season 7, I thought I would write about my favorite moments from the episode. I hope you’ll chime in to tell us yours.
- I loved how much softer and more vulnerable both House and Cuddy were with each other in the episode. It was great to see another side of the characters. It was clear that they really do care about each other, but House is terrified of being happy. I didn’t know what to expect for the relationship, but after seeing the episode, I like the way it’s handled so far.
- It was very touching when Cuddy kissed the scar on House’s leg. It shows a real empathy we don’t always see her express.
- I loved the bathtub scene! How funny!
- Wilson crawling through House’s window and getting stuck was funny. But then House rolling him in on the cart was hysterically funny! Those two have a definite comedic chemistry that is a lot like the comedy and chemistry between Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry. I loved it!
- The way that the team chose to try to save the ER by “helping” the neurosurgeon was fantastic. And the way the guy kept taking off his clothes was so funny. What a great aspect to the episode.
- On a deeper note, I’m not surprised, but happy to see that Wilson was worried about how House was handling losing a patient he became so emotionally connected to. I’m glad they are still going to be best friends this season. The show wouldn’t be the same without their unusual bond.
- It was great fun to see House try to open the champagne with a sword to impress Cuddy. The character was very cute in his excitement and attempt to impress his new girlfriend.
- Ok, I won’t lie. I loved the scene where House had nothing on but a laptop.
For me, the season is off and running in a very good direction. On Monday’s episode, when the team gets to tackle a couple of new cases, it will be interesting to see how “Huddy” changes things for them all.

I loved EVERY single scene with Wilson! XD I was a bit disappointed that he was completely neglected in the season finale, but they really made up for it in this episode.
I didn’t know that he was that worried about House. And I loved the fact that Wilson seriously thought that House was hallucinating again. X)
I’m happy that it wasn’t a very “Ooh, serious business”-episode. It was quite lighthearted and fun to watch, concentrating on House and Cuddy. I’m not a huddy-fan, but even I couldn’t help but think their relationsship was very adorable at points.
It felt different to see House so happy for once.
