Since the new season of House is about to begin (check the countdown in the right sidebar for the exact amount of time we still have to wait), I’ve been getting this blog updated and ready. I’ve added a couple of new pages and updated a lot of the old material too. You might want to get ready for the season premiere by browsing through all the spoilers and new bio information. Here’s what’s new on this site so far:
Who could forget House’s old flame Stacy, played by Sela Ward? It’s great to know that Sela will be making a guest appearance on CSI: New York this season. Here are some candid photos that were taken a few days ago while she was on the show’s set.

Thankfully, since House spent time in the Mayfield Mental Hospital at the beginning of House season 6, he has not been tormented by the hallucinations of Amber, aka Cutthroat Bitch. But the actress who played her so well, Anne Dudek, is far from missing from primetime television these days.
Since 2007 Anne has not only played a recurring character on House, but she has also played recurring characters on Mad Men, Big Love and How I Met Your Mother. She’s also made a guest appearance on Castle and is one of the cast members for the relatively new series Covert Affairs. She’s been a very busy actress!
Here are a few photos that were taken of her at last week’s Summer TCA Party for NBC Universal. I think she looks fantastic, don’t you?
Fox just announced a new team member to join House while Olivia Wilde is filming her new movie. We heard a few weeks ago that Olivia Wilde would not be back at the beginning of season 7 because she’ll be filming her new movie, Cowboys & Aliens. And just now I got the announcement from FOX that Amber Tamblyn will be joining the team in a multi-episode story arc. Here’s a quote from the press release:
Amber Tamblyn has signed on to appear in the upcoming season of HOUSE for a multi-episode story arc. She will play a brilliant and aggressive medical student whom DR. HOUSE (Hugh Laurie) hires as a new team member although she is technically not yet qualified to practice medicine. Tamblyn’s character will be confronted with the morally and ethically questionable way that House practices medicine.
It’s not a lot, but any news is fantastic news. It means that we are edging closer each day to the beginning of a new season.
The premiere of House season 7 will officially be on Monday, Sept. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Woo-hoo! The season 7 details are starting to come out! I can’t wait!!
Let’s see, we have quite a lot of tiny details we can think about as we wait for the next new House episode to air on Monday. Here are the tings we already know:
All of that information, put together is certainly exciting, but here are a few more details to think about:
Got any ‘House‘ scoop? – Maura How do you top the last season finale where Dr. Nasty checked himself into a psych ward? It sounds like the ‘House’ writers are up to the challenge when it comes to this year’s season-ender. “I can’t reveal too much, and this more of a sports reference, but it’s going to go down to the wire,” Peter Jacobson aka Dr. Taub teased me. “It’s definitely going to be dramatic and traumatic for all involved.” Are we talking one big game-changer or multiple medium-sized ones? “It’s more in the biggie category,” Peter said.

Although she doesn’t look thrilled to be followed and photographed, Sela Ward, shopped at the store The Ivy when they snapped her. She played House’s ex-girlfriend Stacy on House for much of season 2.
TV Guide has a great new interview with Michael Weston who plays Lucas on House. Lucas is the private investigator that Cuddy is dating at the moment. I love what he has to say about the “three-way” nature of the relationship on the show. His comments about how people feel about it is even cuter!
He mentions an upcoming steamy, nude scene with Cuddy which should make all the Huddy fans upset. But, of course, the season isn’t over yet… Here’s an excerpt from the interview:
TVGuide.com: What can we expect with the House-Cuddy-Lucas love triangle?
Weston: I have a feeling that House and Lucas have a lot more adventures together. I think Cuddy has a thing for House, and Lucas sort of has a thing for House — in terms of his friendship. They get along like buddies, and they’re both intrigued by the others’ profession. And they both can use each other, which they do. It’s almost like it’s a love triangle with this ever-present third party. It’s an intellectual ménage à trois. [Laughs]
TVGuide.com: How about Cuddy and Lucas? What attracts them to each other?
Weston: I think it’s because they’re complete opposites. For Lucas, she is an intriguing woman that offered a domesticity that he probably never envisioned for himself, especially now that Cuddy has a kid. I think for her, Lucas is young, blunt and honest, but not deceptive. Lucas will speak his mind before he’s figured out what he’s going to say, and he’s a terrible liar. It’s sort of the opposite of House, who is so calculated. I think Cuddy loves House, and yet feels that their relationship would be doomed from Day One. So maybe she found the antithesis of House in Lucas, who is honest and he really likes her.
TVGuide.com: A lot of fans aren’t too keen that Lucas has put a road block in a possible “Huddy” romance.
Weston: I have a feeling we’re the most hated out of the House couples. I actually was getting a coffee at my nearby coffee shop, and someone there says to me, “Huddy, man — you’re messing up Huddy.” And he was totally serious, like looking right into my eyes as though I had just broken up with his sister. I’m was like, “Sorry, I really wanted that to work out.” [Laughs]
TVGuide.com: Rumor has you and Lisa have a steamy scene together coming up.
Weston: Yeah, the Cuddy-Lucas affair gets steamier. Those are always moments that are awkward [for actors]. You’re still getting to know each other and there’s like five dudes holding equipment, looking at you thinking, “What’s up? Yeah, I see you there naked. That’s cool.”
TVGuide.com: If you didn’t play Lucas and were just a fan, who would you say Cuddy should be with?
Weston: I can’t imagine her not being with House at some point in the evolution of the series — assuming House could get it together and become a full human being. I can see Lucas and Cuddy being together for a long time as well if they grow into each other, because as it is right now, they’re learning to get along and open up with one another. I think for Lisa’s character, she finds it difficult not being the boss and in charge, and being at work all the time. She sort of busies herself to avoid emotional vulnerability. That’s where Lucas is important to her character. He brings a vulnerability and openness that can’t really exist in that hospital because House won’t allow it.

House fans know her as the love of Greg House’s life, Stacy. But Sela Ward is a big star in her own right.
Here’s a clip where she tells about her new blockbuster movie The Stepfather. She will play opposite Dylan Walsh as the psychopath stepfather and it looks like it will be a “must-see” movie for fans of thrillers. Check this out:
This week, House was back to his usual cranky, manipulative self. The patient this week was a 16-year-old boy of gypsy heritage suffering from difficulty breathing, pain and then his liver nearly shut down.
The team was hindered from doing all their strangest treatments by the boy’s family who are very suspicious of anyone outside their small community. Foreman felt very moved by the boy’s intelligence and potential and tried to offer him an internship at the hospital to further his studies, but the boy refused because he didn’t want to go outside his community.
House and the team were evaluating some of the boy’s symptoms when House made my favorite quote of the week:
You guys are still thinking like doctors, when you should be thinking like plumbers. C’mon! Let’s see some butt crack!
The show started with House eating and watching TV in a patient’s room.
Wilson walked in and asked “What are you doing here? I thought you always ate with Coma Guy?” House replied, “Meet Vegetative State Guy. Better company. Hey! Tell him about those sherpas you dropped acid with in St. Patrick’s Cathedral.”

House replied, “Meet Vegetative State Guy. Better company. Hey! Tell him about those sherpas you dropped acid with in St. Patrick’s Cathedral.”
I love that sarcasm! I’m chuckling, even as I’m typing…House was in rare form in this episode.
Then things got immediately tense when Wilson confronted House about stealing his prescription pad and forging his name. House wanted to know what Wilson told the cop and he said that he had lied. Wilson told him that they could put House away for ten years after they took his license to practice medicine.
House replied, “So, everything’s good then.” Wilson repeated, “I lied to the cops!” House said, “There is no case unless they can prove that I either got the drugs illegally or sold them illegally. I didn’t do the second and you lied about the first. Game over” Wilson warned him, “Tritter’s just playing, he’s going to see how clever you are, then just walk away…” House said, “The important thing is that you keep prescribing the same amount of drugs to me or it’ll look suspicious.” Wilson, “Here’s another way to look at it, having forced me to lie to the police, your first concern is securing your drug connection”

Just then, a young man entered the room, took at look at them and asked if they were joining his father for lunch. He said he should have called ahead for a table.
House then did some quick, strange diagnosing of the young man an told him he had a disorder that keeps him from seeing things when they move. He said that he would probably also have seizures and by blinking the lights he had tried to set one off. At that moment, the young man fell to the floor and started to seize.
House stated, “God, I love this family!”
