Ausiello: You thought that was ominous? Check out what EP Katie Jacobs recently told me about the couple’s future: “Maybe Huddy isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. I think the exploration of the relationship is interesting. I don’t think the fans are expecting it to go on forever, are they?”

It looks like there’s trouble ahead in one of the relationships on House:

Question: What happened with House spoilers? It’s like a desert nowadays! — Milena

Ausiello: There’s at least one significant breakup coming down the pike. (That noise you hear is the sound of Twitter exploding.) [Source: EW]

• Chase & Foreman aren’t in serious relationships right now, so I doubt that it’s eithr of them.
• Thirteen is not around for the moment, so it’s not her.
• Taub and his wife have been iffy for a while now, so that’s a strong possibility.
• House & Cuddy just got stared in their relationship, so I’m thinking it’s a bit soon for it to be them.
• Wilson & Sam got divorced before, so unless they have both made significant changes, it could be them.
• Nurse Jeffrey has only been mentioned once so far this season (Cuddy said that he filed another complaint with HR) but we haven’t seen that he’s in a relationship with anyone, so it’s probably not him.

My bet is on Taub and his wife, but it might also be Wilson & Sam. What are your thoughts about it? Who do you think will split up? Leave a comment to let us know!

In the aftermath of last season’s emotional finale in which House and Cuddy admitted they had feelings for each other, as Season Seven begins, they are exploring the ramifications of those feelings and attempting to make a real relationship work. Meanwhile, due to a colleague’s illness, Princeton Plainsboro is left without a neurosurgeon on site, threatening the hospital’s accreditation as a Level 1 Trauma Center. As the team attempts treatment to get their sick colleague back to work, they discover there is more to the illness than they originally suspected and turn to House for direction. Here’s a quick bit of an interview that Michael Ausiello did with House star Hugh Laurie at the Emmy Awards Sunday evening:

Question: Where is the Hugh Laurie interview you promised us from the Emmys?! House fans are an impatient lot! —Gillian

Ausiello: First off, simmer yourself. I’ve had a lot on my plate the past few days, if you hadn’t noticed. Second, the interview is RIGHT. HERE.

Ausiello: So they’re finally going there with Huddy.

HUGH LAURIE: It seems that way.

Ausiello: Scared?

LAURIE: I’m scared for him. Terrified. But so far so good. Baby steps.

Ausiello: Are you happy they finally took the plunge?

LAURIE: I care less about what happens than how it happens. And if you do it right, it will work. And if we don’t do it right, nothing works. But I think we’ve danced around the idea long enough, it was time to take some action.

Ausiello: Is it safe to say that if it doesn’t work with Huddy it won’t work with anyone?

LAURIE: That’s a possibility. He might be fatally flawed. [Source: EW]
