Episode 7.12 – You Must Remember This

Here are two juicy spoilers for what’s ahead on House. I am personally one of those Grinchy types that hates the convoluted “musical” episodes that series throw in every now and then. It’s just ludicrous to have everyone burst into song and dance, etc. But that’s just me.

But if you are one of the many people who love them, this could be music to your ears!

‘HOUSE’: MUSICAL NUMBERS? WESTERNS? YUP.

Picture this: House and Cuddy in western gear a la Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Robert Sean Leonard’s Wilson hanging out in a sitcom-style version of House’s apartment as a laugh track pipes in. A musical number choreographed by So You Think You Can Dance‘s Mia Michaels. A horror movie (with zombies!). And a classic black-and-white movie. Sound like the craziest episode of House ever? Executive producer Greg Yaitanes explains.

“Within those dreams, the story of what [the team is] going through is being told in [the dreams] throughout the episode,” he says. “It just allowed us to [tell the] message of this great story between them and let the fans participate in a new way.” Very new, indeed. But definitely worth watching if you’re a Cuddy fan. In fact, it’s required watching if you’re a Cuddy fan. “If you’re enjoying their storyline, this is going to be a very important episode,” Yaitanes teases of the likely “polarizing” episode. “I think people will love or hate us for it, but I just think there’s some incredible work there that was done. Liz [Friedman] wrote an amazing script, and I think everybody really shines in a big way,” he says.

I begged him for more, but all I got was: “The musical is… I don’t think anyone will have seen something like that on television before.” [Source: EW]

Ausiello: The POTW in Monday’s episode is none other than Cuddy’s mom (a.k.a. Candice Bergen). But that’s not the interesting part. This is the interesting part: Taub and Martha discover a skeleton (or two) in her closet when they canvas her home looking for medical clues, and one of ‘em is pretty juicy. As the case evolves, House puts Cuddy in the worst possible position, compelling her to go along with one of his most extreme (read: crazy-unethical) plans ever. [Source: TVLine]

Episode 7.11 – Family Practice

In the next new episode of House, we know that the patient of the week (POTW) will be none other than Cuddy’s mother Arlene, played by Candice Bergen. She is admitted to Princeton-Plainsboro with serious, unusual symptoms. House and his team are the most qualified to find a way to treat her successfully.

But this time, the diagnosis will come with much heavier stakes. House wants to find a way to save her for Cuddy. To make matters worse, here’s a sneak peek at what House suspects is the problem…

If House had a tough time acting like a regular person at dinner with Arlene, just wait until we see how he’s going to try to pull it off around her now that she’s his patient. Here’s a cute preview:

Now that Arlene is having health problems, Cuddy and her sister talk to her about some “interesting” choices she’s been making for the past five years. And Cuddy finds out that her relationship with her mother isn’t what she thought it was:

House will feel pressure to find a way to treat her successfully because of his relationship with Cuddy and it should be interesting. Even though she isn’t in any of these photos, Cuddy’s sister will make an appearance in this episode too.

Episode 7.05 – Unplanned Parenthood
Air Date: October 18, 2010

Here’s the latest description for the new episode of House entitled Unplanned Parenthood. Jennifer Gray, who played Baby in Dirty Dancing will be one of the guest stars. And then, if you like her, you should go watch her dance on Dancing With the Stars right now too. She’s doing amazingly well!

We’ll get to see Rachel, Cuddy’s daughter again in this episode and the team will continue to search for a female team member. It should be another great pisode.
