Quotes:
  • (after going to bed with Rob Lowe on The West Wing) Being with Rob Lowe was very exciting because I was in love with him when I was a girl. And I must admit James Spader is pretty sexy, too.
  • (asked if she’d be attracted to someone like House) Yeah, I like a smartypants. It’s sexy when a guy is that witty and bright, even at the cost of social skills. I have plenty of social skills of my own.
  • The show is a medical drama with a twist, the lead [Laurie] is this brilliant, incredible doctor with this amazing talent, but really he has no interest in talking to people. Plus he’s addicted to painkillers, which just adds fuel to the fire. House is very CSI-like in that it dives into the human body and gives viewers a tour of the body from the inside — a look at the veins and the heart… It’s dark yet it’s funny. It’s very intelligently written, sort of like a medical West Wing.
  • There are so many good roles for women out there, I don’t understand it when people say the role choices are fewer as you get older. I find the opposite to be true, there are less good roles out there for the hot 20-year-olds because the normal girl parts just aren’t interesting.
  • I was one of those people who was literally famous for doing nothing…I was always a part of the club scene in New York and eventually was able to produce my own musical about AIDS (Positive Me) because of the audience and press I received as a club kid. Eventually I was called in to screen test for this MTV show because word was out I was this neat club kid turned playwright. I got the job and basically was humiliated on the air everyday. I’m an actor, not a hostess. It was horrifying. I had all this baby fat, so I was just huge on camera… I still can’t watch one frame of the show. Then I got all this hate mail because I couldn’t play the part right… Luckily the show got canceled after seven months. I was so relieved.

I love Lisa. I didn’t know her before House, unfortunately, but the clips i’ve seen of the shows she was on (via YouTube), she’s excellent at her roles. I admire her & was initially attracted to her for how she feels about animals, as she is like me in that regard. I think of all the people i’ve known or heard about in my lifetime, Lisa is the ONLY one who seems to believe as i do in most respects, except i’m not vegan. I try not to eat alot of meat, but do. Mostly because of a health condition where the protein seems to help. But i digress. Lisa is someone i would so love to meet & spend a few weeks getting to know each other, cuz i think we’d get along great & have a fun time together. Her sense of humor is fantastic & i think she is what she appears to be: a kind, caring, loving individual who is a great asset to this world. If you can contact Lisa, you are welcome to give her my email & ask her to write to me!! I am serious. I am so in awe of her, & like i say, it started cuz of her stance on animals, & then i just fell in love with the character of Cuddy & the person that Lisa is. She doesn’t act conceited like so many celebs & seems to not have let it go to her head. I love that also.
